Back Away 5.3 is the fifth chapter of Back Away.
Plot[edit]
Verona Hayward "fights" Sharon. She enlists some goblins to help her hide all the goblin traps, charms, etc, so the police and Sharon don't find them. She fights an "infected ghost" with a lot of parallels to her situation with her dad, "kills" another echo, and points a cool girl Other away from the town. She confronts Sharon and gets some help from John Stiles to deal with her, leaving her unconscious. They drive back into town to help Lucy Ellingson. Verona grabs Sharon's phone and is probably going to call or message Lawrence Bristow.
