The Brownies are convinced by Toadswallow and Verona to wait to take Verona on the possibility that they could get Bristow instead.
Bristow doesn't take responsibility for the death of Laila Throop.
Salt and apples are used to bind the students
Goblins try to stage a reascue, failure as Estrella demonstrates winter glamour.
