==Plot==
Avery gets paired with [[Fernanda Whitt]] in the school trip to the Bright Fall court. The girls ask one of the Fae vendors about the traps that Maricica set up in her gifts. Avery gets kidnapped into a fight with [[America Tedd]] and kind of convinces her to just stop and go. She discusses with Snowdrop making her her familiar. [[Nicolette]] reveals Musser is the new headmaster, and that she and Raymond know (or are almost certain) they had something to do with Alexander's disappearance, but don't care that much. [[Zed]] drives the girls back to Kennet.
