==Plot==
[[Blake]] freshens up while [[Alexis]] and [[Joel]] call their friends to come. When everyone arrives, Blake begins to vaguely explain his situation. His friends are understandably not convinced; each getting a brief description about their personality, strengths, and why they're willing to learn a bit more. Blake shows off some magic, such as [[Evan]] retrieving a paper and writing a message, and using [[Glamour]] to push a table. Despite the magical reveal, some of them still refuse to [[Awakening|awaken]], or aren't available to help. The rest go collect the materials.

The [[Knights of the Basement|Knights]] bring some books, including ''Essentials'', to get them started. Joel and Goosh leave to learn from [[Priss]] on how to be a [[Blackguard]]. Meanwhile [[Tyler]] performs the awakening ritual, followed by Alexis, and finally [[Tiffany]]. They get ready to confront [[Conquest]].
