==Plot==
[[Queen Sootsleeves|Sootsleaves]] struggles to open a can of fizz so Verona does it for her.

[[Verona Hayward|Verona]] and [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] head off towards the mall to find out what [[Theodora Knight|Thea]] is up to. As they travel Sootsleaves describes the path she used to own, including it’s puzzle and it’s boons.  Verona is unimpressed with the rewards available and Avery suggests she was bound to prevent people accidental stumbling across her and getting her horrible rewards.

They find some of sootsleaves subjects who provides them with information. As they approach the spot they indicated they find a [[diagram]] drawn on a wall, it is disguised as graffiti and intended to scare people away and block [[Second Sight|sight]] and [[augury]].

Verona takes Avery’s fae market key then uses [[glamour]] to create a bunch of keys hoping to use it to implicate [[Tomas Whitt|Whitt]], then they disguise themselves with glamour.

They find [[Theodora Knight|Thea]]’s world, a place filled with skyscrapers and towers without any ground in it, the colours altered to be pencil sketches and shades of brown or tan, it is also looped and only around the size of four city blocks. There are a group of kids hanging around already using magic objects to fly.

Thea descends to them and offers them a sword that gives them angel wings and tells them they can’t tell anyone about this place or take anything from it. Then she boots Verona off the roof causing a section of glamour gets damaged in the process.

Avery and Thea talk and she invites kids to come back and play again later.

Whilst examining the realm Avery things about different types of [[Curse|cursed]] items and if the painting could be one, after listing all the types of curses she knows she narrows it down to either a Coded curse. something that works based of rules, or a ferries, an item that houses an [[Other]].

Verona returns to where Avery is and fixes her [[glamour]]. They check that they’ve not accidentally taken anything, ask Thea to make sure, then leave.

Avery slips out of her glamour as Kai goes out to pee, Avery follows him into the bathroom and gives him her escape key, asking him to show it to Thea to see how she reacts to it. Avery walks back into her glamour and Thea walks up, the two of them start asking pointed questions at each other.

Thea tells them to come back next week and bring their bravest friends, Kai shows her the key and  Thea tells him it’s meant to help someone escape if their trapped inside, she’s attempts to pressure him into tellign the truth about where he got the key from but says that him and his friends wont be allowed back but Kai continues to lie and says a friends of his gave it to him.

Thea throws the painting at Avery and Verona, Verona manages to stay on the roof but Avery almost falls, she pulls on her connection to [[Snowdrop]] to stop herself from falling and manages to dangle by one foot then grab hold of a window sill.

[[Theodora Knight|Thea's]] voice sounds saying that she wasn’t going to keep them or hurt them just snap off their wings and hamstrings of their souls to use as materials. As she speaks the [[Ornithologist]] descends down from the sky and [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] tells [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] that she can get them out but asks her to stall for time.
