'''{{PAGENAME}}''' is the eighth chapter, and first [[Interlude]] of, [[Leaving a Mark]]. Snowdrop has a bad interaction with the kitchen staff, and gets help from a number of quarters in the school.

Another installment in the exploits of Snowdrop, Trailblazer! Her invigorating nap is rudely interrupted by [[Seth Belanger|Seth]]. She tries ot get information but as always her [[Rule of Discourse]] gets in the way, Seth is his usual creepy self. She is thirsty so she tries to go get milk but messes things up and now the [[Brownie]]s are coming for her so snowdrop goes for a run, barging in on Seth in the toilet. she gets out of there quickly.

ends up at nina's library, who's ignorant of Snowdrop's brave retaliatory arson, and gets a book recommendation. She can't seem to sit still though the brownies will come

She goes running again and runs into a pack of [[Familiar|familiars]] and [[Nicolette Belanger|Nicolette]] who helps her former annoyance.

She takes her to the brownies and brings them to heel for Snowdrop. Who finally gets her milk.

Snowdrop tires to give some encouragement but as always her Rule gets in the way.
