Briar Girl briefly describes that she created hers from corpses of the homeless or people no one would claim, purify them, wash them clean, decorate them, and then give them something from herself as a power source to bring them into life.<ref>She gestured towards the bird-mask things.<br><br>

==Trivia==
The term Feorgbold roughly translates to "house of spirit/life" and traces back to an ancient poem called "The Dream of the Rood". The poem describes the author having a dream where he speaks with the cross on which Jesus was crucified.
