==Plot==
[[Lucy Ellingson|Lucy]] goes to visit the [[Shrine|shrines]] and bumps into [[Grandfather]] and [[Pipes]], [[John Stiles|John's]] former squad mates. A lot of the dog tags are planning to leave kennet, but some are staying behind.

They come to the spirit [[Grabsy]], a spirit of want that merged with an echo of a thieving child. They wash the shrine and leave candy for the spirit. Next they visit [[Foorspur]], the spirit of stepping on something painful, they clean it and leave offerings and Lucy asks her to stop making it more hazardous to get to her shrine. Next they visit the [[Spirit of Long]].

They approach the last spirit and find it’s shrine missing, Lucy calls it name, [[Borrador]]. It’s a spirit of an unwelcome stranger at the door and he appears. [[Lucy Ellingson|Lucy]], Borrador and Grandfather enter into the [[Spirit World|spirit world]], they find the shrine and give their offerings but something still feels off. After some exploring they see [[Ken|Ken’s]] old pocket world, surrouned by a river of blood. [[Lis]], protected by the [[Carmine Exile]] is [[Knotted Place|Knotting]] Kennet and moving the shrines in the process.

[[Jasmine Ellingson|Jasmine]] makes Lucy breakfast and the two of them talk about [[Steven]], afterwards they head off to school. She texts [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] and [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] and learns Verona is being taken to the doctor due to her hand.

At school Lucy finds [[Wallace Davis|Wallace]], Mia and [[Jeremy Clifford|Jeremy]]. About fifteen class mates aren’t going to school, Wallace explains it because construction work on the highway. The students not attending including Emerson and Amadeus. Wallace says he’ll has surgery in nine days time.

[[Melissa Oakham|Melissa]] turns up and asks Lucy what the hell is going on, Lucy tells her the bad guys won and advices her to leave.

At the Kennet council meeting they all discuss what’s happening to the town. [[Miss]] says that [[Visceral Knot|Knotted people]] have started turning up, people that are drawn to knotted places. Miss says she visited Verona and that she’s withdrawn.

Lucy heads back off to school with Matthew, Pipes and Doe. [[Matthew Moss|Matthew]] says he’s not ok. As they walk they see [[Edith James|Edith]] and Pipes shouts at her to leave. Matthew reveals that he’s still living with her, that she’s gathered all the [[Echo|echos]] and [[Spirit|spirits]] and entered Kennet after she was bound in case Matthew sends the doom at her.

Lucy asks [[Doe]] to go after [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] and [[Pipes]] to look after [[Matthew Moss|Matthew]].
