'''{{PAGENAME}}''' is the fifth chapter of [[Dash to Pieces]]. [[Verona]], [[Lucy]] and [[Avery]] deal with the invasion of [[Ghost]]s and [[Spirit]]s that have entered [[Kennet]] after the arrest of [[Edith James|Edith]] and Matthew stepping down.
==Plot==
roughly an hour later finds [[Verona]] tring to stop the echo of a young boy involved in a car crash, as well as a toxic echo that tries to corrupt a water spirit. Blasting it with her pre-prepared water rune doesn't seem to do anything.

She stops in at a local convenience store, the same one Daniel visited, and buys over 200$ of stuff for the mission. Including [[Salt]] special water bottles and a flashing pinwheel toy.

She sets up a make shift shrine then glamour up an flys back out to the water and [[Pollution spirit|corruption spirit]] who are menacing a clay spirit boy. She binds the [[spirit]] into the water bottle and the water spirit departs, the menaced clay spirit seemingly doesn't respond.

She returns to the [[car crash kid]], traps him and binds him into one of the bottles using the toy.

Meeting with [[Bluntmunch]], [[Doglick]] and other [[Goblin|goblins]] she's informed that [[Tashlit]] is taking [[Montague]] to the perimeter.

Verona regroups with Lucy, Avery & [[Snowdrop]] and fight off the [[Ghost|echos]] and spirits together. Catching each other up on their progress. They manage to either negotiated or [[Binding|bind]] many of them and Verona offers to build some of them shrines

The [[Montague]] fuelled perimeter is turned on, many of the remaining spirits and echoes are ground down by his effect. Some others take safety in the offered bottles.

[[Matthew Moss|Matthew]] steps in so the Trio can head downtown, he apologizes for doubting them and any negative actions he took due to edith's advice. He imparts some important information about pacing themselves during the fight here.

They run into the goblins again, getting more information about the potential situation, Biscuit is sent to toadswallow so someone can go keep an eye on Matthew. [[Bluntmunch]] wonders what is going to happen to Kennet.

[[Avery Kelly|Avery]] jumps her friends up to a roof overlooking a section of Kennet. They take a few minutes to get situated and plan their next moves as ghosts battle around them.
