The trial of Edith James comes to an end. [[Lucy]] and the trio try to get what little information they can out of Edith that they can. The arrest causes as domino effect Kennet is vulnerable. ==Plot== Even with Matthew having left Edith still doesn't cooperate, they can't seem to get any information out of her. Lucy thinks how Edith's actions brought about so much. After Avery askes John and Tashlit share there thoughts on binding Edith, there own experiences color there comments, John doesn't consider the binding of the out right hostile [[McKay]] as something bad while Tashlit was never bound outside getting tied up but still doesn't think the trio shoud do it to edith. In two weeks verona and tash have developed quite a communication system. Snowdrop comes back, her [[Rule of Discourse]] getting in the way of her honest intentions of verbally sympathizing with Matt, who is considering relieving his sorrows with alcohol. Catching Lucy looking at her <font color=#292100>The Sable Prince</font> refocuses them on the 'trial'. Lucy is undersut by edith again about her asurity over the candle spirits guilt. Avery questions this negativity as Edith had been friendly to the Trio early on, this reveals Edith's somewhat justified prejudice against [[Practitioner]]s and what they can do to [[Other]]s like her. By becoming educated the trio becomes more dangerous to her. Further their continued investigation into the killers of the Carmine Beast rankled Edith, when the trio were just supposed to investigate not name the killers and such. <font color=#292100>The Sable Prince</font> refocuses the argument again reminding them that this trial effectively has a time limit and binding must be decided on. The verbal jousting continues and the threat of binding Matthew is brought up. Which moves the conversation along a bit. Edith admits to maneuvering things that one of the trio got hurt or killed but not out and out forsworn, guilty on one count. Edith finally asks for a cigarettes as the discussion turns against her. <font color=#292100>The Sable Prince</font> helps Verona lay down a binding adding his power to it, later it is reinforced so that anyone tampering with it would incur a heavy [[karma]]ic penalty. Edith has her cigarettes and the binding is imposed, she agrees to a large number of conditions to be able to smoke them. She is proven guilty on another count. things follow from there, Edith had no real intention of protecting the girls unless directly asked. Edith wonders when they first suspected her but doesn't get an answer. The questioning of Edith continues. She was driving the car with the cube, and was responsible for the death of the three [[Innocent]] teenagers. <font color=#292100>The Sable Prince</font> steps into the binding making a black box as he confirms the choir was more of a weapon rather then a conspirator in the death. Answering questions about her motives it deals in the Carmine successor needing grantning an audience, motives to accrued over time were the safety of Kennet, freedom from the [[Doom of Edith James]] and the ability to have children for Edith. They ask again how Matthew was involved and get Edith to break. Admitting that her entire story of how she manipulated Matthew into hosting the doom and eventually being her Husband. Charles and his old network were involved. She got a replacement syringe at one point to keep him close to her. John verbally lambasts Edith for her actions and intentions, the betrayals of both her friends and herself soley for selfish reasons. He steps out to talk to Matthew. Verona takes point. The conspirators know that the Furs are still in Kennet so they aren't outright panicking, moving them might do something else. Edith admits she is likely to be targeted soon. Tashlit alerts the group that the Others of Kennet, they realized something was up. With the binding of Edith means that her leadership and deals have collapsed which means that immaterial Others are flooding into Kennet. Crooked Rook points the trio to the perimeter there needing to be an immediate intervention there. They agree to go while setting up their meeting with Crooked Rook for later.
