Demon binding continued. Evan shows what he can do. Failure. Time to deal with conquest.
==Plot==
[[Blake]], [[Rose]], and [[Evan]] are reminding themselves to avoid looking at the [[Demon]]. While trying to come up with signals, Blake explains his fondness for birds. Finally they enter the factory. Blake starts laying out various circles as he delves deeper in. With the creation of the flaming circle, the abstract demon awakens. Rose uses the Thorburn clout to try and get its name. It responds by lunging at something, killing it, and spilling it's blood to weaken Blake's [[Warding|wards]]. Having been left vulnerable, Evan has to rescue Blake from the demon's grasp. Blake restores the circle, then has to rescue Rose when the demon starts attacking her through it's reflection. Blake accidently looks at the demon forcing, him to shove a torch into his eye. 

They take some time to make sure they're okay and to briefly mourn the loss of their allies. Rose continues using the Thorborn clout to try and [[Binding|bind]] it. The demon says it's name, but eats most of it before the protagonist can hear it. They admit they're out of options, and have to start retreating. Evan distracts [[Ur]] the demon long enough for Blake to stumble back out. While escaping, Blake collects a dismembered arm belonging to Ur. The chapter ends with everyone safe outside but wondering what to do about [[Conquest]].
