It became the new seat of the Carmine successor making any travel to the small city at least a day. 
===New Normal===
After the rise of the [[Carmine Exile]] Kennet started losing it's human population and this population loss was roughly balanced by population gains by the [[Kennet Undercity]].

Musser sent in subordinates to answer Matthew's Demesne claim and later tried to secure a lordship claim there.

[[Kennet Found]] was successful which upended the invader's plans.

Musser ended his lordship claim, was gainsaid by the kennet trio and judges, and made his way out with a group of people. Finding his situation tenuous he agreed on a three-month truce with kennet.
