===Before the Story===
She began as the discarded pyromania of [[Sydney]], and later at up a candlelit vigil, years later she intervened when a man named [[Cole]] tried to send his stepdaughter [[Bailey]] into the [[Abyss]] and was able to take a magic lantern he used, she also gained power from the act even if she didn't directly participate in it. Later she found a third echo of a girl who'd suffocated in a fire.

Practitioners with the help of some stolen notes were able to track her down and captured her with the intent of breaking her up for power. [[Matthew Moss]], the person they stole the notes from interceded, killing them and freeing her. He had been given the task by the [[Lord]] whose territory she had wandered into. He was fascinated by her and helped what had become a diverse collection of similar events and experiences amalgamated together clarifying herself into the Girl by Candlelight.

They rested for a time in Kennet but eventually Matthew was asked to leave and in turn, the complex spirit did too. 
===Story Start===
She was there when the [[Carmine Beast]] died.

The Girl by Candlelight persisted.
