He once overheard the girls discussing magic, but thought they were talking about a game.<ref name=":J4">Verona laughed as she retorted, “You had a gun in yours.”<br><br>Lucy smiled for Verona’s benefit, but she really didn’t feel like smiling.  That heavy feeling was there.<br><br>“Hey!” A voice, male.  It was Jeremy, from their class.  He jogged up a couple stairs.  “What game?”<br><br>Ah, damn.<br><br>“Huh?”<br><br>“What game were you playing?”<br><br>“It was real,” Verona said.<br><br>“Ha ha.  Seriously, though.”<br><br>“Totally real,” Verona said, again, a half-smile on her face. During the summer of 2020 he found a small kitten that he names [[Sir]]. He and Verona took care of Sir until his mother made him find another home for him. Jeremy offered the cat to Verona, and eventually gave it to [[Melissa]].

The lighting of the picture made details hard to make out.<br><br>A subsequent picture showed Jeremy in a swimsuit, cheering for what might have been his dad, who was midway down the ramp.<br><br>A finger darted across her screen.<br><br>“No,” Verona gasped. He bumped into [[Verona]] after she returned from the [[Blue Heron Institute]], he showed her [[Sir]] who he was looking after and Verona offered to give him a book on cats. Whilst at Verona's house they talk about their feelings which culminates in Verona showing Jeremy how to unclip a bra then asking him to remove hers.

They continued to hang out and draw after this.
