Part of the material was taken from a Path called the Stuck In Place, which was hypothesized to be the remains of a dead god that became Lost in the paths and decayed into metaphysical "tar".<ref>Antlers leaned over, looking. “Miss said the Stuck In Place was once a god or something, dead, and the Lost mess clung to the remains of the god or something. Created by the [[Kennet Trio]] and [[Miss]] with major theoretical support from the [[Garrick family]], technical assistance from [[Zed Sadler]] and a [[List of Power Sources|Soul battery]] taken from [[Theodora Knight]]. 

Its initial existence was bloody but having settled in it has balanced and stabilized Kennet and kept the Undercity from usurping it.

Close to eighty practitioners were trapped there but they filtered out over the later weeks.
