Fernanda manipulated [[Laila Throop|Laila]] into agreeing to teach her about her practice and backing her up when if things got tough.

She was invited into [[Alexander Belanger|Alexander's]] office by her brother to act as a witness, during the meeting Alexander's apprentices defected and [[Seth Belanger|Seth]] was [[forsworn]].
