One of the boys of the [[Belanger Circle]]. He's intelligent and a quick learner,<ref name="Tanner1">Tanner had come into the circle through talent. Alexander had taken him under his wing to avoid letting other Augurs have him. He picked things up fast and was good at politics. Alexander sent him on a lot of ‘errands’, networking and doing business with other families.
