*Xhugelan<ref>Xhugelan is an oni that resembles buddha, with a sharp, perpetual glower, decorated earlobes nearly larger than his actual ears, and skin so pale that veins stand out at the temples and joints.  His eyes have no pupils.  He wears a necklace with eight beads nearly as big as his head, with the central bead being two fists clasping one another, and the others as black onyx.  His outfit is otherwise a red and gold jacket and matching pants.  His feet are bare but for slippers, and he carries a fan.  He is served by a quartet of oni maidens.<br><br>While perhaps vaguely reminiscent of a toad, Xhugelan has something of a spider to him, and the webs he weaves tie up practice.  While he normally sits and lounges, looking like he'll never move, he'll act when he tracks unattended practices, unattended summonings, or if he's in the area when someone is practicing, at which point he'll poise himself at some hard to reach location, up in a tree or on a smokestack, glinting gold, and work his wiles.<br><br>Xhugelan's every exhalation comes with threads of spirit silk, which he can manipulate with his fan.  When he has access to an unattended practice or witnesses a practice in action, he'll use these threads to tie up the practice.  In practice, this reduces the Access of that practice and has a small effect on the practitioner who was the source of that practice.  By the time people realize what it is he's doing, their practices have become slow to emerge, cumbersome, costly, and difficult to reorient.  Some never even see him, only hearing mention of him through their summons, who have been breathed on, until he makes his appearance, finding their practice tied up while the oni approaches, putting their heads between his hands and squeezing until the individual's right and left temples touch one another.  - Wildbow on Discord</ref>
