==Inhabitants== Six Lost are always present on the Path following Finders as they fall, half of them are local and recurring, half are random and from other Paths. At least some of the local Lost can die on the Path but still recur, this may or may not mean all Lost, local or not, are revived intact after dying on Falling Oak Avenue. *The Ballerina in Blue: most dangerous of the potential fallers, keeps her face turned perpetually away, spins and kicks debris, Lost, and Finders with deadly precision<ref name="bell"/> *The Schoolkids: second most dangerous fallers, group of schoolchildren that appear in varying numbers, armed with school supplies, viciously hostile at all times but become more coordinated under the conditions that normally turn Lost hostile *The Archer: third most dangerous faller, able to stand on ground without danger, technically doesn't fall but instead follows Finders along the Path, appearing standing on surfaces and reappearing further down the Path when passed, shoots arrows when hostile *The Ball: fourth most dangerous faller, colorful ball paired with either a monkey, clown, small dog, or bear, varies in density from an inflatable ball to a wrecking ball, bounces in order to send itself, its partner, or debris into a Finder when hostile, presumably less accurate than the Ballerina or Archer *The Man on the Bike: one of the least dangerous fallers, man on a bike, counts miles of his own journey which don't correspond to the Path and may distract Finders, pedals faster and raises voice when hostile *The Fainter: one of the least dangerous fallers, woman that screams and passes out, can answer questions while conscious, curses Finders when hostile *Three random additional fallers *The Teacher: Always present in the Classroom, asks Finders trivia questions which need to be answered correctly to finish the Path. Arguably the "Boss" of the path.<ref>Another backwards thing was that a lot of Paths had a large or important Lost like Sootsleeves, the Falling Oak Avenue’s Teacher, Left Field’s Scarecrow Keeper, or the Watcher of Ways in the Watched Way. They tended to appear at the end, which Avery figured was a way to minimize the hassle of having to get dressed and ready for every passer-through.<br>[...]<br>The Clod, from the Amarinthine Conundrum. Sick Girl, from the Hospital Hallway. The Killer By Night from the Neverending Night. The Cigar Smoker from the Up in Smoke. Pumpkin Belly from Cinderella Run. Those were just the ones she could identify.<br><br>Forty-nine killers from various Paths. - [https://palewebserial.wordpress.com/2022/08/06/let-slip-20-2/ Excerpt] from [[Let Slip 20.2]]</ref> *The Birds: appear in the third length, can be grabbed to use a side exit onto another Path rather than completing Falling Oak Avenue *Various additional Lost appear in the third and sixth lengths
