==Trivia== Angels appear frequently in Abrahamic religious texts and folklore. They generally have the role of messengers or other servants working on God's behalf (the word "angel" comes from the Greek word for messenger). Despite superficial similarities, the angels that appear in Wildbow's writings differ significantly in nature and function from the spirits described in these religions. The hierarchy of angels varies significantly by religious tradition. Wildbow's hierarchy appears to be original to his writings. In particular, Wildbow's "choirs" are not synonymous with categories such as archangel, cherubim, etc. Reflist
