==Plot== [[The girl in the checkered scarf]] marches though [[Jacob's Bell]] to look for [[Padraic]]. She deduces that the quickest way for him to go to [[Toronto]] is to go to the bus station, but that the next bus wouldn't come for some time and she would still have time. While on her route, she is ambushed by her previously captured [[Goblin]]s wanting revenge. They hand over letters from Padraic with instructions for a game he set up. The moment she stops reading is when the goblins' ceasefire ends and the game begins. The only reason they're on ceasefire is because they were given Maggie's clothing which allows them to track her. When the game begins, the goblins' goal is break her until she can't walk, see, speak or hold a pen all before sunrise. Realizing the clues left by Padraic, she pretends to continue reading as she walks away. Unable to attack her, [[Buttsack]] coordinates the other goblins into coming up with ways to interrupt her walking without directly interrupting her reading. The girl continues focusing on the paper as noises and movements try to draw her attention, unaware that they had set up a car to run her over. Both her and the car barely manage to stop in time. The goblins then come up with a new plan to draw unsworn goblins to her. The girl stops reading and makes a run for sanctuary. Unfortunately some of the goblins catch her as she reaches the gates. She fends them off long enough for [[Sandra]] to appear. Her familiar, [[Hildr]], scares away the goblins and the girl is assisted into Sandra's guest house. There, Sandra offers her food, drink, and rest for one night and in exchange the girl can explain what happened.
