== Plot ==
[[Avery Kelly|Avery]] spies on [[Tomas Whitt]] and his friend [[Willis Robert Loeb]], a justice of the peace that Tomas has bribed. The [[Tearaway Kid|Tearaway]] kid reports what he hear whilst she’s listening in on them.

[[Snowdrop]] spots a [[List of Others#Styan|Styan]], a type of homunculus made to prevent spying.

Avery uses practice to identify people that are connected to Tomas and Willis, she sees they both have a connection of someone far away.

Avery returns home and reads some of her Finder books, including a book about [[Hazel]], a women that was lost on the Paths for a hundred years.

Avery reports in to the [[She Who Drowns in Moonlight|Lord of Thunderbay]], she says that Tomas, [[Florin Pesch|Florin]] and [[Hugh Legendre|Hugh]] are all associating with Musser whilst [[Theodora Knight|Thea]] has cut ties with him. She also says that [[Tomas Whitt|Whitt]] is bringing in guns for some reason.

[[Nicolette Belanger|Nicolette]] and [[Liberty Tedd|Libery]] arrive, Liberty makes her mark on Avery’s family and manages to mace [[Sheridan Kelly|Sheridan]].

Avery realises Tomas’s and Willis’s mutual connection is Liberty’s dad, [[Anthem Tedd|Anthem]].

Avery and Liberty go of to get food and run into [[Nora]], Liberty communicates something to Nora whilst Avery is paying for food.<!--
