Editing Left in the Dust 16.1 (section)

==Plot==
[[Lucy Ellingson|Lucy]] and [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] show the council the power source they’ve stolen, then they call [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] so she can join in. After preliminaries they start discussing the possibility of inviting outsiders into Kennet and setting up [[Sir Toadswallow|Toadswallow’s]] market.

The Foreman, [[Bitter Street Witch]] and [[Vice Principal]] arrive to discuss becoming council members.

They talk about sending the Bitter Street Witch to learn with Nicolette, giving the Vice Principal some of Toadswallow’s magic gimmicks and Bitter Street offers her some territory she doesn’t really want, the Foreman turns down their offer but agrees to take down [[the Family Man]] in return for money. Verona considers the possibility of removing the Foreman later.

Verona and Lucy are waiting around for Toadswallow to open up his market, they’ve brought in a bunch of goblins to act as security.

Were told that the Family Man’s ritual had stopped and the pregnancies were no longer accelerating and they can bring people in without it taking a day.

[[Nicolette Belanger|Nicolette]] appears and when the goblins get to aggressive she curses one, [[Liberty Tedd|Liberty]] gets out the back seat of the car and greets the goblins.

Nicolette tries to assess the Bitter Street Witch and asks her to do a reading for her, she bites and guts a bird and it tells her that Nicoltte was working with Musser. Nicolette explains that her contract was now over and that she took it because she thought it would be a chance to get rid of the [[Carmine Exile]].

The Bitter Street Witch explains how during a dream she managed to direct the future to an outcome she wanted, Nicolette warns her about how dangerous that can be, if she doesn’t set events in motion correctly the universe might erase her.

Liberty asks Toadswallow to let her borrow [[Cherrypop|Cherry]] saying her dad will bring her back, Toad says he doesn’t trust her dad enough and they argue over it.

Toad open the back of the van to reveal three creatures which he then starts auctioning them off. Next [[Ramjam]] starts trying to sell off his collection of goblin weaponry, giving a long speech about each item. After him is Tatty flogging a bunch of minor trinkets.

Nicolette reapears and says that she did her own reading and that the trio are thinking about a [[demesne]] to stabilise [[Kennet]]. Nicolette says they’ll have to deal with [[Lis]] first.
