Editing Gone and Done It 17.3 (section)

==Plot==
The [[Kennet Trio|Kennet trio]] nominate [[Louise Bayer|Louise]] as their new council leader. [[Melissa Oakham|Melissa]] notices her crying blood and [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] suggests it happens whenever she near [[Other|Others]] or [[Practitioner|practice]].

[[Sir Toadswallow|Toadswallow]] and [[Miss]] also put their names forward.

They say they want someone to lead them that doesn’t have blood on their hands and who has a connection to the rest of Kennet. They also suggest having a leader for each part of Kennet, [[Kennet Trio|Above]], [[Kennet Undercity|Below]] and [[Lost Kennet|Lost]].

They take a rudimentary vote with 18 in favour out of a possible 23.5.

[[Crooked Rook|Rook]] asks how [[Louise Bayer|Louise]] would act whilst at war, [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] makes an off hand reference to Rook taking food from starving people and Rook notices.

Next they discuss if they want a leader that’s a warlord or a diplomat, with a small majority in favour of warlord.

The trio start asking each candidate questions, starting with if people that have done horrible stuff can change and where to draw the line. All the candidates give their response.

People causally insult [[Edith James|Edith]] so she walks out.

Next they ask what they’ll do if Kennet is attacked whilst they set up Found Kennet. [[Sir Toadswallow|Toadswallow]] says he’ll use violence followed by diplomacy, [[Miss]] says she’ll try and buy time. Louise for her part asks everyone else what they’d do, the [[Kennet Undercity|Undercity]] warlords say they’ll fight, Rook said she’ll use the [[Turtle Queen]], [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] will release more Lost, [[Lucy Ellingson|Lucy]] would use the [[Dog of War|dog soldiers]].

We’re told that the establishment of Kennet Found is only a few days away and that [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] plans to visit for thanks giving.

They eventually decide on the three leaders, with [[Louise Bayer|Louise]] in Kennet Above, Miss in Lost Kennet and the warlords in Kennet Below.

[[Miss]] tells them all to attend to any innocent connections they have to help with founding [[Lost Kennet]].

Back at her [[demesne]] Verona says goodbye to [[Mallory]], [[Bracken Fry|Bracken]], [[Bag Fry|Bag]] and [[Melissa Oakham|Melissa]].

[[Jeremy Clifford|Jeremy]] comes over, she shows him the house and he tells her [[Wallace Davis|Wallace]] is coming over tomorrow.

Verona suggest they shower together, abruptly [[Jeremy Clifford|Jeremy]] says that [[List of Kennet Public 8-9 Class Students#Caroline Gray|Caroline]] asked him out, he says before he accepts he wanted to give her a chance to be girlfriend and boyfriend. [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] rejects him saying it’d feel like she’d be performing.

[[Verona Hayward|Verona]] suggests that they could do more rude stuff if the thing with Caroline doesn’t work out but [[Jeremy Clifford|Jeremy]] rejects her because it would feel as if he’d have to either tell any girl he dated or keep it a secret. She offers to be friends but he says it would be unfair to Caroline.

She’s hurt and angry and disrespectful towards Caroline, she thinks briefly about showing him magic to make him stay but decides against it.

He leaves and Verona texts [[Avery Kelly|Avery]] to tell her what happened, she decides against telling [[Lucy Ellingson|Lucy]] due to their argument last summer. She walks around town until 2 in the morning.

Then she turns herself into a [[Feline|cat]], goes to [[Jeremy Clifford|Jeremy’s]] house, meows until he wakes up and lets her in and cuddles into bed with him as a cat. After a few moments she decides to leave and goes back to her [[demesne]].
