== Plot ==
It is revealed that the spirit [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] has ingested is the Spirit of Long.

[[Peckersnot]] informs Verona that the faery they’ve apprehended isn’t [[Maricica]].

The trio and the unknown faerie proceed to argue about the terms of the challenge and Verona asks to be made a fae to make proceedings fair but is refused by the Aurum.

The trio successfully argue that they should be tried together instead of separately and the argument moves on to if the contest they’d created was fair or not.

The Aurum creates an arena, an industrial landscape covered in gold and brass.

[[Finnea]] argues she was out numbered, out of her element and surrounded by a crowd chosen to hate her, and insists that she should get an audience just as biased for the trio. The trio attempt to refute this by stating that the only reasons for doing so was due to the gap in experience. Finnea reply is that as this is experience “determined in years” she can have as many people as  she wants so long as they the no experience in years. Verona counters that arguement by says she’s still using her own experience to create them and Finnea asks for a sidebar so as to talk to the Aurum alone.

Whilst the tow of them are talking the trio agree to continue using the Goat, Snake Wolf rolls they where using earlier.

Finnea and the Aurum return and announce they’ve agreed the audience the trio will have but refuse to inform them of the details. Lucy argues against the concept of having sidebars and the Aurum says he’s in favor of them but that they can call one as well if they want.

A host of Dark Fall [[fae]] start to appear around them.

Verona requests a time out and Finnea rejects it by arguing that the duellist arena was designed to pressure and rush her, after a back and forth on the issue it’s eventually rejected, she goes on to push back at anything that even remotely resembles the trio asking for more time.

Verona accuses Finnea of being involved in [[Maricica|Maricica’s]] conspiracy, as evidence she points out that they’ve coordinated by sharing information like what gifts they had received. Finnea responds by says she’s actually their to support [[Lis]] and [[Cig]] from unfair scrutiny, predation, abuse and binding and that all she knows about the [[Carmine Beast|Carmine]] conspiracy is what she’s able to infer. She also says she’s trying to work against Maricica and intends to destroy her at a later date. As a result of these accusations Verona is [[Gainsay|gainsaid]] and starts to suffer severe discomfort form the effects if the six berry admixture, the Aurum Coil says the effect will last several days to a week.

They begin arguing over the arena and [[Verona Hayward|Verona]] calls a sidebar over which [[Finnea]] objects, after dropping one of her points from earlier in her own sidebar the Aurum agrees. They eventually manage to keep the forest instead of being taken to the fae courts.

We cut to the the start of the trial and a Fae starts measuring them for dresses and a older female keeps giving them demerits for their lack of etiquette. Nine fae girls each with nine eyes appear and start tailoring dresses for them. A fae comments on how bad Avery’s costume is and Liberty mentions she made it especially for her.

[[Finnea]] appears and says demirits determine the outcome and she will be their prosecute. She also presents a list of charges to them. These include, violating oaths made to faeries, taking goblin items to fae courts and faerie items to goblin realms, standing between a fae recruiter and an individual wishing to join the court and acuminated 1800 demerits. The punishment is currently one and three quarts girl, to be sold at a Dark Fall market.

Suddenly Verona and Lucy receive a text message telling them that the warding in Lucy’s home has been breached. They ping [[Tashlit]], [[John Stiles|John]], [[Nicolette]] and [[Cherrypop]] but after they get that far the judge blocks it. Verona drains the Spirit of Long in order to send a message to the goblins to protect [[Jasmine|Lucy’s mum]]. It’s implied that [[Maricica]] has the one behind the wards being breached.
