== Plot == Lucy chooses what curse she wishes to use and discusses her option with Avery and Verona. We get information about the Enyo curse which will draw power from the wounds the practitioner receives, the practitioner must draw out the mark of Enyalios and then be struck at least three times after which they must deliver a retaliatory blow against their foe. The book they're reading from also contains information about the Impudent Orgy, Verona starts reading aloud about it before being interrupted by Lucy. Lucy decides against they Enyo curse and instead starts investigating a basic Toil curse that will set a weight to somebodies actions. The text tells the tale of a dancer who was cursed by a rival so that the more she danced the the more effort it became. It requires a square stone as a delivery mechanism. Lucy mentions they should use blood, sweet and tears to reinforce the curse and Verona gives her a bloodied bandage. Lucy goes out to look for the cube shaped rock she’ll need for her curse and Snowdrop accompanies her. She starts thinking about all the people she knew that had died to the choir and walks past some of their houses. As she’s walking she accidentally goes past Paul’s house and after talking to him learns he’s planning to leave Kennet, in part due to her curse. Lucy apologies for being angry at him but not for the things he said. Paul in turn also apologises. His brother Brad yells at Lucy and accuses her of starting rumours about Paul and causing him to lose his job. Lucy asks for answers about what happened but Paul fails to explain why he left her mother. Lucy remove the curse she put on Paul. After the meeting ends Lucy starts crying and Snowdrop comforts her. She hands her a cube shaped rock and Lucy dabs it against her wet cheeks and states what’s been lost in their effort to defend Kennet. Back in the House on Half Street they do the same with Verona’s bloody bandage, talking about how much they’ve bleed for Kennet and challenging Maricica to say the same. Whilst Lucy was away Verona worked on her Alchemy with Avery, the two of them had been out this morning to gather ingredients. Verona and Lucy are out eating together and Lis attempts to spy on them. The two of them attempt to corner her in order to interrogate her but she escapes them and head for where Cig is. Nicolette has overhead vision due to the string of eye balls they released and directs them as they chase her. Lucy grabs Cig but dropped him when he burns her fingers, Verona released a jar of smoke to entice Cig to jump there then she opens another jar of clean air in order to get rid of the smoke to prevent him simply jumping away again and binds him in a circle of chalk. Verona signals Avery to head off. Verona eats the Sixberry admixture she created earlier that she had discovered in the halflight text book. The mixture alters her Self and her sense of taste, when she hurts herself she feels taste instead of pain. Lis drops a flowering weed and when Lucy and Verona reach for it it attacks them, Verona manages to pick it up and it turns out theirs a message from Lis warning her fellow conspirators that’s she’s about to be captured. She also note down that their lightly armed but that their bags are heavier. A spell card is set off and the fire explodes onto the street. Lis appears wearing a coyotes mask and has copied Verona and Lucy and has their ability to practice. She runs and they give chase. Maricica suddenly appears and accesses Lis of revealing too much, Lis swipes at Maricica only to reveal it’s actually Avery in disguise trying to trick Lis into giving them information. There’s a flash back to Avery making a costume of Maricica out of scarfs and dark fae glamour Lis turns into a copy of the trio wearing a rabbit face and carrying a hatchet, Verona mentions that Lis is unable to hurt them according to the oaths and Lis turns and runs. Avery alters herself using glamour and because Lis is copying her she changes as well, this prevents her from going out into the busy street full of innocents. Lis manages to turn into an athletic male despite their being no one around to copy, she runs away again. The real Maricica appears drawn by their use of curses, transformations and Avery look similar to Kell. Avery shouts “Wolf hour” and a rune detonates casting off any remaining glamour she has on, she puts on her wolf mask. Maricica tries to convince them that she is innocent and that Miss and Rook are the guilty party. Liberty and her goblins arrive.
