== Family Members == {| class="article-table" |- |Name |Description |- |Alexander Belanger |The head of the Belanger Circle, in his 40s. The practitioner who foreswore Charles Abrams, he runs the Blue Heron Institute. |- |Chase Whitt |The one who brought Nicolette into the Circle as her sponsor. Slightly overweight, and with a swoop of black hair. A member of a prominent non-Belanger family. Seventeen. |- |Nicolette |Encountered the Kennet Trio investigating Kennet after the disappearance of the Carmine Beast. Like Alexander, wields offensive Incarnate practices in addition to Augury. Took the name "Belanger" on joining the group. |- |Seth Belanger |An 18-year-old member of the Belanger Circle, attractive. Banned from smoking joints in Alexander's office due to harassing Nicolette. Alexander's distant nephew. |- |Tanner Gilpin |One of the boys of the Belanger Circle. He came into power through finding an auspice as an innocent, a sign of things to come. From there, he eventually found practitioner families, and was snatched up by Alexander. He's intelligent and a quick learner. |- |Wye Belanger |The oldest of the boys in the group at the age of 25. Wye's dangerous and smart, and tends to command a similar respect to Alexander Belanger. A nephew once removed of Alexander's. He runs the family business while Alexander teaches. |}
